Initial Consultation Fee: An initial consultation fee is charged at the current hourly rate.  Fee is due at time of appointment. We accept cash, personal checks, and Visa and MasterCard credit cards.

It is important for an attorney to obtain all the facts, discuss the issues with you, and review any relevant documents, agreements, or pleadings prior to giving legal advice. Only in the limited exception of an out-of-state client will the attorney discuss your matter with you and advise you without first meeting with you in person.

As we must always check to see that there is no conflict of interest between the attorney and the opposing party, you will be required to give my Legal Assistant your spouse's name in a divorce case, your ex-spouse's name in a post divorce modification or contempt case, or your fiancee's name in the case of a prenuptial agreement.

Initial Retainer Amount:
An initial retainer amount and a signed retainer agreement are always required prior to representation. The amount of the retainer will be determined at the initial consultation based on the particular circumstances of each individual case.
